I was born in Gafanha da Nazare in 1968, Portugal.

Since my childhood, I always had a great passion for Creative Arts.

 

Art is part of my essence as a human being.

I appreciate the Beautiful and the Freedom of Expression in Art aswell as the cultural and artistic process that people had troughout history.

 

My great passion is Mural Painting and the Craft Techniques of Painters.

 

During all these years working on Chromatic Reintegration and and Mural Reproduction Painting, I learned to love and respect the artistic expression and the techniques of the painters.

 

The reproduction of mural painting allows me to enter the painter's soul and discover the used technique.

 

When I make a reproduction I avoid using new technologies, trying to only use the traditional techniques that were available to the artist for his original painting.

My work is based on respecting the original piece, at all times, with the minimum ammount of possible intervention always with the principle of reversibility.
